Fabrication of Flexible Quasi-Interdigitated Back-Contact Perovskite Solar Cells

Perovskites are a promising class of semiconductor materials, which being studied intensively for their applications in emerging new flexible optoelectronic devices. In this paper, device manufacturing and characterization quasi-interdigitated back-contact perovskite solar cells fabricated on substrates studied. The photovoltaic parameters the prepared (FQIBC PSCs) obtained front- rear-side illumination options. dependences device’s open-circuit potential short-circuit current intensity investigated to determine main recombination pathways Spectral response analysis devices demonstrates that optical transmission losses can be minimized when FQIBC PSCs illuminated from front-side. Optoelectronic simulations used rationalize experimental results. It is determined have high surface losses, hinder performance. findings demonstrate process fabrication provide some directions performance improvements.
